A funeral mass took place July 23 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Jersey City, for Mildred R. Hedler, 84. She died July 16 at St. Ann’s Home, Jersey City. Born in Brooklyn, she lived most of her life in Jersey City and for a time in Crestwood Village, Whiting. She worked as a teacher’s aide for the Jersey City Board of Education at. P.S. 34 for 20 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Our Lady of Mercy Seniors. She was the wife of the late Alfred L.; mother of Hope Anne Johnson and Robert L. Hedler; grandmother of Charles Dillon Johnson, Nicolette Marie Hedler, Victoria Rose Johnson and Dylan Robert Hedler. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
