At the recent 18th annual Bayonne Cal Ripken Baseball awards ceremony, both Matthew Page and Aiden Doherty were selected as co winners of the Michael Romano Memorial Sportsmanship award. The award named after Michael Romano who was a young player in our league and tragically passed away from cancer and who epitomized what sportsmanship was all about. Matthew Page played for Pizza Masters and Aiden Doherty played for McCabes.
