JERSEY CITY — RentLingo, an apartment search website, has rated Jersey City one of the top 20 most charming mid-sized cities in the nation.
The website’s “Charm Index” rates how charming cities are down to the street level, using a variety of data. Some of the data used included portions of Bayonne and Hoboken, as well as Van Vorst Park and the Powerhouse Arts District in Jersey City.
The site claims the ranking was based on the average of the overall charm of every street and every block in Jersey City and includes information about local business, crime, local lifestyles, biking facilities, and other factors such as gym availability, museums, and libraries.
