A funeral service took place Dec. 18 for Dorothy M. Veith, 83, of Jersey City. She passed away surrounded by her family on Dec. 14. Born in Jersey City, Dorothy remained a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker with an enthusiastic love of gardening and animals. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert. G. Veith and brother, Eugene Brown. She is survived by her children, Robert J. Veith and his wife Kathleen and Karen Taglieri and her husband Philip; grandchildren, Julian, Jessica and Ryan and brothers Arthur and John Brown. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
