This week’s weather: Rainy and mild Monday; more rain Thursday

HUDSON COUNTY — So far, it doesn’t look like we’re heading toward a white Christmas, what with temperatures in the 60s these last few days. But if we don’t get snow in the near future, we’ll still get rain.
Accuweather predicts a cloudy day on Monday, with rain from noon through around 2 p.m. and then at night after rush hour.
Thursday is also expected to be mild with periods of rain.
Tuesday and Wednesday should be sunny, with some wind on Tuesday.
Temps will be in the low 60s on Monday and Tuesday, in the 50s on Wednesday and Thursday, and returning to the 40s and 30s for the weekend.
For Christmas Day, Accuweather predicts a cloudy day with temps ranging from 37 to 55. It’s still a ways off, though.
No matter what the temperature, it always seems to be freezing when the ball drops.
