A funeral mass was offered June 15 at St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Kathleen E. Calbismonte, 62, a life-long Hoboken resident. She passed away at her home in the presence of her children. Kathleen would be best known as a waitress at the legendary Leo’s Restaurant, Hoboken where she was employed for the past 33 years. A mother, sister and grandmother, she will be missed by her mother, Elizabeth and her father, Thomas Baker and her sons; Martin Shannon, Hoboken Principle, and his wife Jonni, Michael Shannon, Hoboken firefighter, Marcello Calbismonte, and her only daughter, Elizabeth Maarleveld and her husband P.A. Det., Josh, her sister Linda Milne and her husband Jr. Kathy was a grandmother of six adorable grandchildren; Jacob, Nathaniel, Jackson, Sophia, Lucas and Evan. Also surviving are her two nephews, J.J. and Connor Milne. The family wishes to thank Natasha Alvarado for her kindness to Kathy during her illness.
