Funeral services took place Aug. 16 for Ruth Ritz, 89, of North Bergen. She passed away Aug. 11. She was born in Jersey City and lived in both Union City and North Bergen for most of her life where she was a homemaker. She was the wife of the late Harry Ritz and mother of Gina and Harry Ritz and the late George Ritz. She was the mother in law of Rita Ritz and Walter Gettmann as well as the grandmother of Robert Simscuk, Michael Simscuk, Harry Ritz Jr., Gregory Ritz and 4 great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
