Traffic delays expected in Meadowlands area today due to event drawing 100,000 to celebrate Talmud; and 15,000 more expected for Hoboken Mumford and Sons concert

SECAUCUS AND BEYOND – New Jersey Transit has issued an alert that large crowds are expected at Secaucus Junction, New York Penn Station, Hoboken Terminal, and Newark Penn Station due to a major event at MetLife Stadium on Wednesday, Aug. 1 beginning around 4 p.m.
Over 100,000 people are expected at MetLife Stadium on Route 3 in East Rutherford for a celebration of the Talmud, a book of Jewish laws and traditions.
However, weather conditions could postpone the event to Thursday.
Meanwhile, Hoboken expected 15,000 people starting at 5 p.m. today (Wednesday) for their Mumford and Sons concert on Pier A next to the train terminal.
