HOBOKEN — Sal Picinich, a longtime baker at Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, who until last year had appeared on the “Cake Boss” reality show about the bakery, passed away this week at the age of 63. He lived in Carlstadt.
Picinich had worked at the bakery for 45 years, according to a story in the Record. He died of cancer.
The story said he was born on the Croatian island of Susak. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
