Dear Editor:
We are hoping that the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting brought lots of holiday cheer to our community. This event would not have happened without the hard work of the parade committee, which included Regina Bator, Marilyn DePice, Mayor Mike Gonnelli, Vinny Massaro Jr., George Miller, Connie O’Connell, Fran Petrizzo (our own Mrs. Claus) and Donna Przychodzki. Their hard work and dedication to our town as volunteers speaks volumes. A simple “Thanks” just doesn’t seem enough – so we wish them all the Merriest of Christmas’s and the Happiest of New Years.
A special thanks to our Deputy Mayor John Bueckner for his help and guidance, Kevin O’Connor for helping us with so many of our needs, Dr. Berckes who as always came through as the voice of reason – even during chaotic times, the Secaucus Fire Department for their beautifully decorated engines, pretzels and hot chocolate.
To the Town of Secaucus – We say “Thank you” – for giving us the opportunity to try something new.
