Funeral mass took place Dec. 11 at Our Lady of Fatima Church for William A. Poupeney, 94. He passed away Dec. 7 at home. Born in Hoboken, he was a retired machinist for Crown Cork and Seal Can Co. in North Bergen. He was past president of United Rubber Workers Union. He was the husband of the late Esther; father of Janet Klein, Thomas Guaschino and his wife Irene, Brian Guaschino and the late Michael Doughty; grandfather of Debbie Jones, Walter, Jason and Thomas Guaschino, Scott and Sean Doughty; great grandfather of Jason, Ethan, Andrea, Christopher, Jessie, Ty, Mikaylee, Owen, Sadie and Tanner; great-great-grandfather of Jadyen; and also survived by his niece Bernice McCloskey; and a grateful neighbor of Luz Perez.
