Wrecking balls begin breaking down Giants Stadium

STATEWIDE — Wrecking balls showed up on Thursday to begin tearing down the old Giants Stadium in East Rutherford.
The stadium closed for the last time last month to make way for the new Meadowlands Stadium, which will open in May.
