Funeral mass took place Jan. 8 at Our Lady of Fatima Church for Carlos Arturo Serna, 60, of North Bergen, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Jan. 5. He was born in Colombia and immigrated to the United States in 1969. He was employed at Hoboken House Property Management for many years before having to leave due to his illness. Arturo was a loyal and trusted friend to all. Arturo will always be remembered for his unconditional love and devotion to his family and friends. Arturo was the husband of 35 years to Nancy Serna; the father of Alexandra McDonald and the father -in-law of Michael McDonald and grandfather of Paloma McDonald. Arturo also has many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews here and in Columbia. Arrangements by the Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, North Bergen.
