Interlibrary loan is back

Dear Editor:

I am pleased to report that the NJ State Library has contracted with CD&L Delivery Service to resume interlibrary loan service throughout New Jersey. For the past several weeks, libraries have been operating without this valuable delivery service that provided transport for millions of books, both to and from libraries in New Jersey each year.

Effective Wednesday, May 15, patrons may resume requesting interlibrary loans either from the web catalog, e-mail, phone or walk-in service. We appreciated your patience during this crisis. We also want to say thank you for any inconvenience you may experience as we weed, relocate and update our collection in preparation for the grand move. Please ask for our assistance. We are always happy to help you.

Staff of the Secaucus Public Library
