Funeral services were held Jan. 22 at St. John Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Nina McClary-Bowden. She passed away Jan. 15 at Jersey City Medical Center. She worked for Pollock Hospital for 12 years and was a member of House of Prayer for 25 years. Nina lived in Jersey City for over 60 years. She was the wife of the late Robert Bowden; mother to Hulon, Carlton, Joseph, James, Allen, Gregory, Ronald, Jerelene, Jean, and Joan and stepson Richard; grandmother to 175; great-grandmother to 50 and great-great-grandmother to 10.
