Funeral services were held Sept 15 at St. Lawrence Church in Weehawken for Bernice Englese, 86, of Weehawken. She passed away Sept. 11. Bernice was born in Weehawken and was a lifelong resident. She worked for many years as a custodian for the Weehawken Board of Education before retiring. She was the wife of the late Patrick Englese and the mother of Debbie Bodtmann, John Englese, Mary De Pinto, Thomas Englese and the late Patrick Englese. She was also the grandmother of eight grand and nine great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
