JERSEY CITY — With the stunning backdrop of the dual skylines of Jersey City and New York City, hundreds of exotic cars will be on display in Liberty State Park on Sunday, August 30.
The event will help support the new Women’s Health Center at Grove Street, which will open shortly at Jersey City Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility.
Driven By Purpose, an organization of over 1,000 exotic car owners in the New York metropolitan area, selected Jersey City as the site of its premier Exotic Car Event. Featured will be many of the same cars – Maseratis, Ferraris, and Lamborginis, among them – shown at the world famous Concours d’Elegance in Palm Springs, CA, and Amelia Island, FL.
“We chose Jersey City because we know it is rapidly evolving into a world class city with world class amenities,” said Bruno Guarini, Founder and President of Driven By Purpose. “The stunning views of Liberty Harbor and easy accessibility from the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas made it an easy choice. Our members are also about owning amazing cars and supporting good causes in the community.”
Guarini called Jersey City a premier destination for businesses and new residents, having the restaurants and hotel space to support a major event.
“We chose Jersey City with the goal of making this the home of a world class event for many years to come, much like the upscale annual polo matches also held in Liberty State Park,” said Guarini. “A world class city also needs a world class medical facility like Jersey City Medical Center, which is why we want to support new initiatives at the hospital, like the Women’s Health Center at Grove Street.”
The Liberty Harbor Exotic Car Event is open to the public and will run from 10 am to 4 pm.
