To the Editor:
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the emergency room staff of the Bayonne Medical Center. I brought my husband to the emergency room with chest pains. I can’t begin to express how impressed I was with the care we received. The nurses and assistants were absolutely amazing. The staff was experienced, knowledgeable, caring, kind, and above all patient.
The nursing staff in the Cardiac Step Down unit was professional and compassionate at all times. The ICU nurses were some of the most qualified people that I have ever encountered. Everyone knew what needed to be done and did it with a smile. I would especially like to acknowledge Nurse Cara for the care and understanding that she provided to my husband as well as me.
A very special thanks to Dr. Peter Wong for his phenomenal care and infinite wisdom in treating my husband. We had so many questions, and in each case they were answered with compassion and concern. He is an intelligent, caring, and remarkable person as well as an excellent physician.
