HOBOKEN — There was more to be thankful for in Hoboken as of Sunday night.
The city sent out this announcement: “Water service has been fully restored to the entire city of Hoboken, and roads in southwest Hoboken have been reopened to traffic. The water supply has been tested and is safe for consumption. There may be discoloration of the water for a short time, but there is no boil water advisory for Hoboken. Water pressure has been restored to normal levels.
“Hoboken is now receiving its full water supply through the repaired water main via Jersey City and is no longer receiving water through the backup Weehawken connection…
“Full milling and paving of the affected streets will occur at a later date.”
