A funeral service was celebrated Dec. 14 for Lucile O’Donnell, a long-time resident of Secaucus. She passed away Dec. 10. Born in Teaneck, she lived in Hoboken and Jersey City before settling in Secaucus. A stay at home mom, Lucile was devoted to her children. She never missed a dance recital, a football game, a school trip or carpool. She always told her children that they were her greatest achievement. In her day, she was a tennis player, a tap dancer and an active member of the community who performed in the community theater as a member of CAST, and as a singer in the Immaculate Conception Church choir. Her many years in Secaucus were spent raising her family and making many life-long friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward and is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Marijean, Edward and his wife Anne, Cathleen and James, her grandchildren Brendan, Brian, Megan, and Erin, her brother Peter Baker, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
