From a 12-minute action adventure short about a cop and a criminal who kill each other during a high speed car chase ("Get the Hell Out Of Heaven") to an 84-minute romantic comedy about a guy who agrees to marry a Connecticut socialite to get out Jersey City ("Peroxide Passion"), The Back East Picture Show promises to have something for everyone.Billed as a four-day competitive film festival, The Back East Picture Show kicks off today, Thursday, April 25 at 11 a.m. and will run through Sunday, April 28. All screenings will take place at the Hudson Street Cinemas, 5 Marine View Plaza, on the corner of Hudson and First streets in Hoboken. Here are just some of the movies being offered.
