A funeral mass was offered Feb. 10 at St. Anthony’s RC Church for Carmen Hechavarria (Brunet), Union City. She died Feb. 7. She was born in Sagua de Tánamo, Cuba. She is survived by her children, Irma, Himilce, and Gaspar; her sisters, Hilda Moralez and Emelina Gonzalez, and brothers, Lorenzo Brunet and Miguel Brunet; five grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
