A funeral mass was offered June 30 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City, for Ronald S. Cafferty Sr. of Point Pleasant, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away at Jersey Shore Medical Center on June 27. Ron was a retired Jersey City Fire fighter and a Vietnam veteran. He was the husband of Elodia Cafferty; father of Ronald Jr., Timothy and the late Christopher. Ron was a grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
