Occhipinti HQ opens

HOBOKEN – Fourth Ward Council candidate Tim Occhipinti opened his campaign headquarters on Saturday morning and declared the contest “a race for the heart of Hoboken,” according to local online repports.
Former Fourth Ward councilman Assemblyman Ruben Ramos Jr., was on hand to tell Occhipinti, “You can rely on my full support.”
Ramos has said he will campaign for Occhipinti between now and Election Day, Nov. 2.
Occhipinti is running in a special election against Councilman Michael Lenz, who was appointed to the 4th Ward position after Mayor Dawn Zimmer took office. Lenz is supported by the mayor.
