Freeholder Rivera treated for chest pains

JEREY CITY – Hudson County Freeholder Eliu Rivera was treated and released from the Jersey City Medical Center yesterday afternoon after experiencing chest pains at a campaign event, according to NJ.com.
Rivera was at the opening of a campaign headquarters for sheriff candidate Undersheriff Frank Schillari in downtown Jersey City yesterday when he felt chest pains.
He was driven to the hospital in a private car, according to the report, where he was examined and quickly released.
Schillari is running on the Democratic line against Sheriff Juan Perez, who changed his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican earlier this year.
