Dear Editor:
I want to thank the Reporter for including my third decade of Letters to the Editor (Dang ‘Em, Hang ‘Em) as one of the books by local authors featured in the Nov. 27 issue. Three decades, hundreds of Letters–surely a rather unique “marriage” between me and the Reporter (many unions don’t last so long!). Without the Reporter I would have been a frustrated writer, because, as the article points out, I would have written the Letters anyway–an urge which I cannot resist–but without the chance to get them published. My books (Letters, travel, fiction, memoir, poetry) are, as the article states, for sale ($5) on the outdoor table at Symposia Books, but forgot to mention that the $ from the sale is donated to the bookstore.
