A mass of Christian Burial was offered Nov. 5 at St. Nicholas Church, Jersey City, for Antonia Sciancalepore, 104, of Jersey City. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Oct. 31. Antonia was born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy and immigrated to Jersey City in 1958. Antonia prepared food for 10 years at M&R Salumeria, Jersey City. Antonia enjoyed cooking for the family and spending time with her grandchildren. Antonia was the wife of the late Sergio Sciancalepore; mother of Gaetana Marino and her husband Ralph, Michael Sciancalepore and his wife Marie, Laura Sciancalepore and her late son Giacomo Sciancalepore. Also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and 18 cherished great-grandchildren.
