ANSWER: The net height is different for girls and boys. Measured from the center of the net, the girl’s height must be 7 ft. 4 1/8 in. while the boy’s height must measure 7 ft. 11 5/8 in. (Rule 3, Sec. 1, Art. 4).
QUESTION: Are teams required to use only a solid white volleyball during a match? Can multi-colored ball be used?
ANSWER: The legal volleyball consists of either solid white panels or a maximum combination of three colors (each panel being solid) and of which at least one third of panels being solid white. Ball consists of twelve or more basic, rectangular shaped panels of equal size of simulated or smooth leather (Rule 3, Sec. 2, Art. 1).
