89, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on September 19, 2016. Salvatore was a member of The American Legion and served his country proudly in WWII as a Navy Seabee (Construction Battalion). He was the father to Francine Tagliareni and the grandfather to Jennifer and Lindsay Tagliareni. Salvatore was pre-deceased by his wife Alfonsina (nee: Prisco), his son Salvatore DeChiaro III and his son-in-law Joe Tagliareni as well as his siblings Andrew, John, Corneil, Anthony, Theresa, Madeline and Margaret.
