LEON, Dr. FERMIN

Dr. Fermin León passed away at the age of 73 on Sept. 14, 2016 in Miami Beach, Fla.. He was a beloved husband to Marita Leon for 45 years. He is survived by his children Beatriz, Esteban and Alejandro León and his adored grandchildren, Isabella and Marco Ramos.
He was born in Ciego de Avila, Cuba and immigrated to this country to find the freedom lost in his native country. He was an accomplished medical doctor in the Hudson County community for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling the world, the arts, and the beach. He had a passion for classical music, and dedicated his mind to literature and God’s word. His love for his family, his friends, and his patients was his guiding light. He will be remembered for his passion, dedication, his perseverance, charismatic energy and his infectious smile. We will remember and hold you in our hearts forever!
