77, of Bayonne passed away on August 21 at the Bayonne Medical Center. Eric was a co-owner of Parts Unlimited, with his brother Joe. He also worked for many years as a carpenter at Cutting Edge Construction Co., with his two sons, and for James Forgione Construction Co., with his uncle. Eric was a husband to Lois (nee: Locke), a father to Rick and his fiancee Monica, Mark and his wife Mary, and to Ronnie Veverka and her husband John. Grandfather to E.J., Nicholas, Amber, Caitlin, Alexa, Trey, Olivia, and Ava. Brother to Joseph Cherchio. Eric was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Susan (nee: LoBuono) Cherchio, and his brother Chris Cherchio. In lieu of flowers donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Envelopes provided at the funeral home.
