West New York’s Mayor Roque has baby boy

WEST NEW YORK — Liusda Perez De Roque, wife of West New York Mayor Felix Roque, gave birth to a 10 lb., 6 oz. boy on May 28 at The Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. This is Roque’s third son, but the first for the couple.
Named Felix Eduardo Roque, the boy measured 21.5 inches at birth. Born through a c-section procedure, the doctors who assisted Ms. Perez-Roque were Dr. Henry Fernandez-Cos and Steven Stella.
“Life gave me a prize when Daniel and Joseph came into my life. Today God rewarded me again with a woman who is my strength, my companion in difficult times, and gave me this handsome male,” Mayor Roque said. “I have no words to say how I feel. Just thankful that my son is healthy and surrounded by love of all my family and friends who have been with me throughout my career.”
