57, of Bayonne made his transition from labor to reward on April 15, 2016 at Care Point Hospital in Bayonne surrounded by his family. Redd was born in Jersey City on to Harry Thomas Venable and Elaine Johnson. He was educated in the Bayonne Public School system and was employed as a butcher in Bayonne until retiring. Darnell Redd was preceded in death by father Harry Thomas Venable, stepfather Dewey Johnson and maternal grandmother Ardella Redd, long time companion Pat Bullock and a special friend Linda Gonzalez. He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Elaine Johnson; sons Anthony (Melanie) and Ramon; daughters, Renee (Barkim), Tyquana, Nicole; brothers, Keith (Linda), Robert (Sheila), George (Virginia); sisters Debra Ann, Elaine (Solomon), Jacqueline (Scott), Michele (Jack). Aunts, Clara, Jeanette (Iashia), Diane and Lee. Also special friends Kevin, Renee and cousin Harold, 12 grandchildren, 28 nieces and nephews, 30 great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
