KELLETT, CAROLE DOLORES

Funeral mass took place March 23 at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church for Carole Dolores Kellett, 73, of Union City. She passed away March 19. She was born in Weehawken and briefly lived in Rutherford in the 1970s, however most of her life was spent in Union City. She graduated from Emerson High School in 1960 and worked as a secretary for Dan River Mills and library secretary for Fairleigh Dickenson University until retirement. Carole operated a furnished rooming house having met many friends in her years of operation. She also served as a home health aide, volunteer at St. Joseph School of the Blind and was a member of the St. Joseph and Michael Rosary Society.
She was the mother of Laura Kellett and Lisa Leuck and husband Scott. She was the companion of Anthony DeVito and sister of Diane DeCesare and Dolores Cebula and husband Robert. She was also the grandmother of Scott and Nathan Leuck as well as the aunt to many nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Dolores DeCesare and brother Richard. Also predeceased by Eugene Kellett. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
