At (3-2), the Comets lead the pack as they take on the (1-3-1) Sonics for a week 5 JCC of Bayonne Indoor Soccer Sr. Division showdown. Hitting the ground running, the Sonics stormed out to a 4-0 lead as Harsh Easwar racked up 3 goals and an assist with Jacob Kowal adding a goal and 2 assists while Khaled Rasslan picked up an assist in his season debut. Trying to get on track, the Comets got on the board as Mariam Rasslan assisted Dylan Subacz on a scoring blast. Leading 4-1, the Sonics exploded for a boat load of goals as Jacob Kowal (3) and Harsh Easwar (3) hit their mark to put their squad up 10-1. Facing an uphill battle, the Comets did fight for one more goal as a brilliant defensive stop by Joyce Gabrael helped to set up another Subacz goal but the score had little effect as the Sonics rolled to a 10-2 victory.
