A funeral mass was held Feb. 27 at St. Francis Church in Hoboken for Robert Bisogno, 77, of Union City. He passed away peacefully on Feb. 22. He was born in Newark but spent most of life in Union City. Bobby was the Senior Citizens Coordinator of Union City for over 30 years as well as a beautician and owner with his good friends at Roberts II salon in Union City. He loved working with the senior citizens, planning trips and taking care of their doctor’s appointments, even as he went through his own dialysis treatments he would always work to be there on time despite the weather. His favorite pastime was dining out and watching football, reliving his high school days as team captain of the football team in Caldwell.
Bobby was also a Committeeman for over 25 years and active with the Brian P Stack Civic Association. He would help anyone in need and was certainly a “people person” who will surely be missed. He is survived by his aunt Angela (Dolly) Mastriani as well as several cousins and his many friends. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
