30 members of the Bayonne Recreation Special Olympic bowling team turned in outstanding performances at the 2016 Special Olympic Hudson County Area 1 bowling meet. The event was held at Hudson Lanes in Jersey City with the following results:
1st place: Ronald Benitez, Marcello Ciccone, Alexis Galgano, Francheska Huentelaf, Dina Tryon, Elania Walsh, Marybeth Yurecko
2nd place: Lori Brett, Samantha Ciemiecki, Jude Orlando, Dennis Pavlak, Jovanni Torres
3rd place: Siearra Battle, Roger Belanger, Wendy DiDomenico, Kaitlyn Frey, Ian Hudacko, Barbara Mari, David Saylor, Michael Walsh
4th place: Nicole Bawiec, Charles Cirillo, Jody Czucza, Debbie LeSane, Jimmy Rockicki
5th place: Dennis Driscoll, Richmond McCurnin, Cheryl Olander
6th place: Jesse Onion, Ronald Onion

Any athletes placing first second or third advance to the North Sectional bowling meet. The meet will take place on Saturday, March 5 at Hudson Lanes.
