A funeral mass took place Feb. 18 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City, for Jennie Trumble, 90, a lifelong Jersey City resident. She died Feb. 15 at Alaris Health Care Center, Jersey City. Born the daughter of the late Helen and Peter Prochnicki, she was a volunteer for 26 years at the original Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, Jersey City. She continued her volunteer service as the home changed hands becoming the Franciscan Home and Rehabilitation Center and lastly Newport Home and Rehabilitation Center, before finally becoming Alaris Health Care Center. She also volunteered her time at her parish, Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City.
She was the wife of the late Raymond Trumble; mother of Raymond (Jane), Henry (Linda) and John Trumble (the late Lorraine) and (Linda); grandmother of Raymond, Robert, Tracey, Brooke, Anthony, Jonathan and Lucia. Great-grandmother of Rebeckah, Harrison, Aiden, Robert John, Kira, Jeffrey, Cooper, Raigen, Emma, Lyla Jayne, Avery, Madison, Chelsea, Mia and Lyla Jae. Jennie was the last survivor of her siblings. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
