A funeral mass was offered on Feb. 22 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in Fairview for Domenico Gigante, 83, of Hoboken, formerly Fairview. He passed Feb. 19, at Hackensack University Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born in Mola di Bari, Italy, Domenico immigrated to Hoboken in December 1959, eventually settling in Fairview. He was the cofFounder of Mola Iron Works in Hoboken. He will be missed by his wife, Lidia, his children; Roseann Hroncich, Frank Gigante, and Lydia L. Cotroneo and her husband Vincenzo; his endeared siblings; Giuseppe, Vincenza, Achille, Antonio, Colomba, and Laura; his grandchildren; Michael, Nicholas, Sarah, and Vincent. Predeceased by a brother, Camillo. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, Hoboken.
