Déjà vu: Over 100 families impacted by water main break in south Hoboken

HOBOKEN – SUEZ, formerly United Water, was currently hard at work Thursday morning repairing a 16” water main break at the intersection of Paterson Avenue and Harrison Street in Hoboken that was affecting service to over 100 families in the area.

“123 families are impacted by the repair,” said an update on the SUEZ website. “A crew continues repairs on the water main and our customers will be updated as soon as possible.”

SUEZ thanked residents in the post for their “continued patience and understanding.” That very area saw the rupture of a 100-year-old 36-inch main break last Thanksgiving, which caused flooding and led to road closures.
