Drenching rains cause some flooding

HOBOKEN — Drenching rains all day Tuesday caused some flooding in low-lying areas of Hudson County. Tammy Freeman took this photo of flooding on Ninth and Madison streets in Hoboken.
The flooding took place during a week in which Hoboken scheduled a major public hearing on an upcoming federal project to combat, well, flooding in Hoboken.
