JERSEY CITY — The murder of a 24-year-old man on Feb. 7 is the subject of an investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s office.
In a release, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said that on Feb. 7 at about 8:10 p.m., Jersey City were dispatched to the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Oak Street in Jersey City on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police found the victim, Christopher Jackson-Terry, in the front seat of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wound(s) to the upper part of his body. The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:43 p.m.
No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide. The Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department.
