A letter from Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro

Dear Editor:
I was proud to be sworn in as a member of the General Assembly to represent my hometown and home county as a representative for the 33rd District of New Jersey in January. But now, the real work starts. There are many issues facing New Jersey, and I am pledging to all of my constituents in the 33rd District that I will be the strong voice we need in Trenton.
As I mentioned during my campaign, I want to work on identifying solutions to lowering taxes, providing affordable housing options for low to middle income residents, working with educators to improve New Jersey’s school systems, and addressing transportation funding priorities. Additionally, I am proud to be serving on the Law and Public Safety Committee, as well as the Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committee.
But I write today because I want to hear from you, the residents of the 33rd District. As your new representative, I want to be available to you and work with you to solve your issues. My new district office is located at 80 River St. in Hoboken, on the 2nd Floor. You can reach my office at (201) 683-7917, and my email addresses is AsmChaparro@njleg.org. Please, do not hesitate to contact me or stop in if an issue arises, or if you’d just like to introduce yourself!
Let’s work together to ensure the needs of the 33rd District are addressed in Trenton! I thank the voters who put their trust in me, and I look forward to making you all proud.

Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro (D-33)
