Dublin and Doran appointed to HCIA

JERSEY CITY – Former Jersey City Freeholder Jeff Dublin was among two appointments made to Hudson County Improvement Authority this week. The Hudson County Board of Freeholders voted to appoint Dublin and reappoint James Doran this week.
Dublin previously represented a portion of Jersey City as freeholder. Both terms will expire on Jan. 31, 2021.
The freeholders also approved the re-appointment of seven current department directors and one new department director.
The seven current directors who were re-appointed were: Abraham Antun, County Administrator, Donato J. Battista, County Counsel and Director of the Department of Law, Cheryl G. Fuller, Director of the Department of Finance and Administration, Darice Toon, Director of the Department of Health and Human Services, Benjamin Lopez, Director of Family Services, Harold E. Demellier, Director of the Department of Roads and Public Property, and Michelle Richardson, Director of the Department of Parks and Community Services.
Tish Nalls-Castillo, a Rutgers University Graduate and a Correction Officer, rose through the ranks to position of Acting Department Director of Corrections. She was unanimously appointed as the new Director of the Department of Corrections.
