Adoption & foster care agency at Bayonne City Hall Feb. 3

BAYONNE – The New Jersey Department of Children and Families’ Division of Child Protection and Permanency will have an information table at the Bayonne City Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The table will promote registration for foster care and adoption.
“The city of Bayonne is happy to join with the state of New Jersey to encourage foster parenting and adoption in our community,” said Mayor James Davis. “I urge anyone who is interested in foster care and adoption to visit the table at City Hall on February 3.”
The New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency is a social agency. It is in critical need of foster homes for children from birth to 17 years old in the Hudson County area. The division has nearly 8,000 children in the state that are in need of foster or adoptive homes.
“The public’s assistance will be very helpful to find stable and safe homes for New Jersey children,” a spokesperson said.
