88, passed away on January 15, 2016, surrounded by her family. Muriel was born in Hoboken to Elizabeth (nee: Faden) and Joseph Gorden, she resided in Bayonne from 1965 – 2011. In 2011, she moved to Saint Francis Residential Community in Denville, NJ, were she happily spent her last years. She worked as a lunch aide at Saint Andrew’s School for 10 years. She was a member of the Saint Andrew’s Choir, Widow & Widowers Group, and the Prime of Life Club, all of Bayonne. Wife of the late Michael P. Salamon. Mother of Michele Ponteliona and her husband Joseph, and Kathleen Bonelli and her fiance Tom Leshik. Grandmother of Sydney Bonelli, Sean Ponteliona, Cara Bonelli, Matthew Ponteliona and Jason Ponteliona. Sister of the late Robert Gorden, Francis Giardina, Claire Pavone, Florence Amato, Marion Weimert, Joseph Gorden.
