Subacz, White Catapult Bears to Victory

Closing out their 2015 JCC of Bayonne Indoor Flag Football Jr. Division regular season schedule the (7-3) Bears took on the (2-9) Jets. The Jets got out to a 6-0 lead on a 30 yard dash by David Matos but the Bears quickly responded with a wire to wire TD toss to Adonis White followed by a two point catch by Dylan Subacz as the Bears took an 8-6 advantage. Staying with their passing attack, the Bears made it a 14- 6 game with a 25 yard pass to Subacz. Rallying back the Jets’ offense took flight as Jack Kruchkowski reeled in a scoring strike to cut the Bears’ lead to 14-12. Entering the second half the Bears started to pull away with Dylan rushing for a 40 yard TD and hauling in a 10 yard TD pass. Subacz also tacked on a two point grab while Adonis White pitched in with a two point scamper. Trailing 30-12, the Jets kept plugging away with short strikes to Anthony Baez and Kruchkowski before hitting paydirt on a TD gallop by David Matos and after a sliding two point snare by Kruchkowski the Jets closed the gap to 30-20, Bears. Looking to put the game in the win column, the Bears got a huge offensive play by Brenden “Catchem’ All” McCall on a 3rd down reception to set up Dylan Subacz’s game clinching TD run as the Bears notched a 36- 20 advantage.
