KOSAKOWSKI, MAE (nee Buklarewicz)

93, of Singer Island, Florida, formerly a lifelong resident of Bayonne, died in Palm Beach, FL on December 7, 2015. Mae is survived by her beloved husband of 75 years, Sigismund “Bruno” Kosakowski, her children, Diane Vida, Chester Kosakowski and Richard Kerr; her grandchildren, Kery Anderson, Diane Vida, Lauren Kosakowski, Debra Kerr, Darren Kosakowski, Joseph Vida, Jason Vida and Michael Vida; her great-grandchildren, Annmarie Mazzarella, Vanessa Luke, Victoria Vida, Lily Mason, Julia Mason, Ryan Anderson, Ben Kosakowski and Michael Kosakowski; her brother and his wife, Frank and Barbara Buklarewicz; and her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Kosakowski; her parents, Joseph and Helen Buklarewicz; and her brothers, Stanley Buklarewicz and Joseph Buklarewicz. Mae was born on October 29, 1922 in Ansonia, CT to Joseph and Helen Buklarewicz (nee Rutkowski). Mae lived most of her life in Bayonne, NJ where she graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel and from Holy Family Academy, raised her children, ran for the City of Bayonne Councilwoman second ward seat in the late 1970’s, and was a licensed Real Estate saleswoman.
