FLAMMER, THOMAS PATRICK

78, of Shark River Hills, passed away on December 8, surrounded by his family at the Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon, NJ. Thomas worked for United Parcel Service in the Secaucus Distribution Center for over 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 177. He was a parishioner and an usher at Saint Elizabeth of Hungary RC Church in Avon. He was formerly a member of the Holy Name Society at Saint Aloysius RC Church in Jersey City. Thomas was a proud veteran of the US Air Force who served during the Korean War and was in the Air National Guard and served as a fireman at McGuire Air Force Base. Thomas was born in Jersey City, lived in Bayonne and lived there until moving to Shark River Hills 23 years ago. Thomas is predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Kilfoyle), his parents Ann & Jack Flammer, his sister Patricia Kelly, his son in law Patrick McGuire, and his brother in law Ronald Kilfoyle. He is survived by his three daughters; Danielle McGuire of Madison, NJ, Dawn O’Neill and her husband Robert of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Joelle Kelly and her husband Brian of New York City, his 10 grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Mara and Shea McGuire, Meghan and Matthew O’Neill and Shannon, Katie, Joelle and Thomas Kelly and his siblings, Jack Flammer, Robert Flammer, Nancy Junjulas and Raymond Flammer.
