GRUNDINOFF, GREGORY H.

86, of Shrewsbury, MA, passed away on November 29, 2015, at Beaumont Rehabilitation Center, Northborough, MA. Born in Bayonne N.J. in 1929, to Daniel and Mary Grudinoff, Greg grew up in Bayonne and graduated Bayonne H.S. in 1946. He later served in the U.S. Army in Germany in the early 1950s and was a qualified rifle marksman. Grudinoff earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Seton Hall University and was a retired Chemical Plant Manager after having worked for Sterling Drug for over 20 years. Greg married his wife Helen, and they resided in Watchung, NJ for almost 30 years with their son Mark, before they retired to Dunellon, FL, and then Avon Park, Florida. Last year he moved to Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. He was a husband, father, brother, and uncle who enjoyed his family. He was a faithful member of the Holy Cross Orthodox Church in Fort Myers, FL. He was also a member of the American Legion. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Helen (nee: Rapacewich) Grudinoff, in 2014. He is survived by his son, Mark Grudinoff, and Mark’s wife, Colleen Crowley; and his sister, Helen Wanko. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary (nee: Cimbalak) and Daniel Grudinoff as well as his sisters Anastasia Grudinoff and Rose Brelinsky.
